# License Activation on Local & Staging Environments

For development and testing purposes, the theme allows license activation on **local and staging websites** using a valid ThemeForest purchase code.

If the website URL matches known development or staging patterns, it is automatically treated as a **non-production environment**.

This ensures a smooth workflow while building and testing the website before moving it to a live domain.

***

#### Recognized Local & Staging Keywords

A website will be identified as a **local or staging site** if its URL contains any of the following keywords or domains:

```
localhost
dev.
demo.
stage.
staging.
local.
.dev
.demo
.stage
.staging
.local
.instawp.xyz
.tastewp.com
```

**Example URLs**

* `http://localhost/project-name`
* `https://dev.example.com`
* `https://staging.example.com`
* `https://example.demo`
* `https://site.instawp.xyz`
* `https://site.tastewp.com`

***

#### Activation Behavior

* License activation **is allowed** on local and staging environments.
* These environments are **excluded from live site usage**.
* The same purchase code may later be activated again on the **final live (production) domain**.

No additional configuration or manual approval is required.

***

#### Live Site Policy

* A single ThemeForest purchase code is permitted for **one live production website** only.
* Any domain that does **not** match the allowed staging keywords will be treated as a **live site**.
* Activating the theme on a live domain follows standard ThemeForest licensing rules.

#### Recommended Development Flow

1. Install and activate the theme on a local or staging website.
2. Register the theme using your ThemeForest purchase code.
3. Complete development and testing.
4. Move the site to a live domain.
5. Activate the theme again on the live website.
